We are in the process of finishing our basement and I am so excited for it to be done. For the past 7 years our basement has been a great big catch all room. It has been a giant play room for the kids, an exercise room for me in the winter, and a storage unit for all our stuff when we didn’t know where to put it. I’ve been decluttering and it’s amazing some of the junk I’ve kept. I think the hardest and weirdest thing for me to part with is mail/papers. Whether it’s letters, kids art work, bills ???, etc…, I always have good intentions of organizing them for future reference, or scanning them into my computer so they are easy to find, but it never happens. I got rid of a lot of the paper, when we cleaned out the basement before the contractor got started, but still have a pile or two in my office. I promise I’m not a hoarder. I think most of us have something we can’t quite keep organized and mine is mail/paper. I’m just happy I’m making progress.
A Sassy Red Skirt: This skirt is from the brand, A New Day at Target. I posted about the brand here. Not only does this brand have cute handbags, they also have stylish clothing too. When I saw this skirt at Target, I knew it was coming home with me. It is a statement piece. I love the red color, it is so bright and bold. When I was deciding how to style this skirt, I knew I wanted the skirt to be the star, so I kept the rest of the outfit simple. Black shirt, black sandals and a black bag. If you’re looking for a fun skirt to wear now and through the holiday season, this is it.
